My name is Ludovica, I’m twenty-one years old. Now i live in Catania, but i’m from Palazzolo Acreide. I’m a student of Accademia di Belle Arti.
My art revolves around graphics and design. These two fields are very similar but equally different. Since I was a child I have been interested in the shape and structure of everything around me, in fact I immediately started asking myself questions about why an object was designed in that way rather than the other; why that label worked and was recognizable thanks to that color; why that advertisement came back to me thanks to the sound pattern that accompanied it. I’ve always had a constant need to have something to give. This is why I started looking for answers, understanding that this was slowly becoming a real passion.
Over time I got to know myself better and I understood which style reflected my being. I prefer order and systematicity but at the same time I love modernity. What makes me happy is being able to design something that is useful but at the same time unique and different from the others. Starting from a simple idea it is possible to give life to real projects. Sometimes, however, it's really difficult to be able to represent what you want to convey first on a sheet of paper and then on the PC and it's not always easy to fully express what you have in your mind. But when it happens it's one of the greatest satisfactions.
Between graphics and design I'm more focused on design because, reflecting me more, it can arouse emotions in me that I can transform into productivity.
