I’m Chiara Noemi Monaco and I’m an italian illustrator.
I was born in Catania, 1987, where I took up my art studies.
As a child I have always loved the illustrated books, looking with dreamy eyes on those beautiful drawings.
Growing up, I started playing videogames and I just really loved it. As a grew up I was more and more fascinated by the Character Design and Concept artist job.
These things, and mainly the love to drawing, led me to become an illustrator.
In 2015 I moved to Milan in order to follow my passion for illustration and to attend the professional illustration course at the “Scuola del Fumetto”, were I studied the creative process and the language of the images in addition to the various classical and digital illustration techniques. I also participated in the basic sculpture course with Mauro Pietro Gandini and in the illustration course for children held by the illustrator Anna Castagnoli at the International School of Illustration of Sarmede. Although I prefer the fantasy and noir style, as can be seen from my portfolio, I like to try and learn new styles and techniques.
