Description
After an experience abroad, working as architect for a competition based office in Copenhagen, COBE architects, and entered in contact with a peculiar Scandinavian attitude in the design process, I started a new experience joining Mecanoo Architecten in Delft.
Although my academic education has been led exclusively in Italy, I enriched my training with internships and working experiences abroad in order to enter in contact with several design approaches and be able to fully operate in an international environment, thanks also to my double nationality and ability in operating in several languages.
So I have been able to compare design practices in Italy, as well as in Denmark and Brazil, acquiring competences in competition making, and knowledge regarding detailing or building processes in the respective different countries.
My period of work in Copenhagen has demonstrated my attitudes for team work, with no difficulties in switching from different project typologies and modalities, spanning from international competitions to building realization of constructive commissions.
The variety of my background, that started with the career as musician, could hase been a fundamental contribution to the investigation of new fields of research.
My main interest is to pursue the profession at the highest levels, aiming to manage to always offer an interest to the architectural discussion, with no fear of working hard and avoiding to chose easy and already experimented ways in the design struggle.
