Description

I was born in Favaro Veneto, on the Venetian mainland; I live and work in Mestre.

Self-taught, photographer since 1968.

Owing to my job I had to interrupt this activity from 1984 until 2003, year in which I started to work again.

I have held personal exhibitions mostly in the Triveneto area and in the year 2008 also in Rome. During the period 1968/1984 I produced work both in colour and black and white; at present I work with only black and white film, using the medium format. I personally carry out the printing of the negatives, printing only chemically on baryta-coated paper. For their preservation, the photos are treated with a stabilizer process or subjected to selenium toner.

At present I am represented in Italy by the Gallerati Gallery of Rome.

Some of my works are part of the Quiñones Foundation Museum Collection in Cadice (Spain).

My photographs have been published on the front page and used as support to articles in the magazines “AV” and “Vivere a Venezia”, other photographs can be found in “Fotografia Reflex” (April 2008), in issue n° 45 of “Gente di Fotografia” (in the Exhibition section) and in the magazine "Foto Cult" n°70 (November 2010). I was included in the Photofestival Roma-2008 with my personal exhibition entitled “Khepera” (www.galleriagallerati.it) and chosen as Photographer of the Month: May 2008 in “Fotologie-Profili d’Autore. (www.fotologie.it)
