La Canosa winery located in the Piceno territory, in the heart of the Marche region and takes its name from Poggio Canoso, one of the four castles of the municipality of Rotella, among the valleys, immersed in the silence of the Sibillini Mountains National Park.
The choice of producing wine in the territory of Rotella is not accidental, but very careful and determined by the peculiarity of a unique territory, where position, climate and morphological conformation are combined with an ancient winemaking tradition.
La Canosa Winery expands over 100 hectares of land and is located at the turn of the 43rd parallel, a recognized latitude as particularly suited to the production of excellent wines.
The vineyards extend over 26 hectares, right in the heart of the Val Tesino, behind the Monte dell'Ascensione, a place with a fertile position thanks to thermal breezes that guarantee a successful cultivation of the vine.
