Description

G-maps creates apps for mobile platforms (smartphones, tablets) with innovative technologies such as Augmented Reality. The company develops projects in the following sectors: publishing, environment, Public Administration (PA), education, tourism, mobile telephony. Every month G-maps’ augmented reality applications register thousands of downloads.
G-maps created the augmented reality guides for events such as Fuorisalone (Italian Home Furnishing Trade Show) and Festival of the Internazionale magazine. Also, thanks to an application developed by G-maps to promote its tourist offering, in 2010 the Ferrara Province placed second in an Italian national PA competition.
G-maps develops technologies and advertising services- based on image recognition platforms- which can associate virtual contents visualized by mobile devices to printed images (such as brochures, business cards, etc).
